Compared to the empty hand art of Muay Thai, the Thai weaponry art of Krabi-Krabong is rarely taught. Yet, this powerful system of armed combat so impressed Black Belt Magazine Hall-of-Fame weapons expert Dan Inosanto that he set out to learn it and integrate it into the weapons curriculum at his Academy.

With an arsenal ranging from a simple knife, to a long halberd, to double weapons, and flexible weapons, Krabi-Krabong also integrates the empty hand techniques of Muay Boran (the forefather to Muay Thai) into its combative training methods. These ancient and traditional Thai martial arts were made famous by Tony Jaa in the movie, Ong Bak!
